Minka (民家), or traditional Japanese houses, are characterized by tatami mat flooring, sliding doors, and wooden engawa verandas. Another aspect that persists even in Western-style homes in Japan is the genkan, an entrance hall where people remove footwear.

In Japanese architecture, an engawa (縁側 or 掾側) or en (縁) is an edging strip of non-tatami-matted flooring, usually wood or bamboo. The ens may run around the rooms, on the outside of the building, in which case they resembles a porch or sunroom.

The clinic is located right next to his primary house and it's relatively small compared to the main building of The House. As The House already has its own space for counselling and psychotherapy, Orion doesn't really make use of the clinic unless extremely necessary.

The garage and bedroom3 have been renovated completely and serve as the counselling room and psychotherapy room respectively.Walls surrounding the counselling (tatami) and psychotherapy (tatami) are soundproof.The laundry space has been renovated and is now used as the medication storage room, with the right temperature and is correctly monitored.Bedroom2 (including closet which has been renovated into a library) serves as Orion's working space and reading chamber.

Though the genkan (foyer) is supposed to be the entrance of the building, the garden and engawa are actually located right next to the main village road, making it the actual entryway of the building.Walls surrounding the dining (tatami) and living (tatami) are soundproof, as both rooms serve as the counselling room and psychotherapy room respectively.The kitchen space has been renovated and is now used as the medication storage room, with the right temperature and is correctly monitored.The bedrooms are for inpatients.The foyer space has been renovated thoroughly and is now used as kitchen.

Grandma Kaede who voluntarily works as the keeper of the building. She cleans, cooks for inpatients, and reports to Orion about stuff. Grandma Kaede is a kind former military doctor who tends to people all over the village. Although a patient person, Grandma Kaede can sometimes be very serious and aggressive.Master Roshi whose job is actually to take care of the inpatients and keep watch of the situation in the house as the only man working for the clinic... However, Master Roshi often makes humorous sexual advances on any beautiful woman he can get close enough to. Master Roshi enjoys eating home delivered pizza. He also enjoys reading, watching TV, using the internet (mainly for adult sites), playing video games and taking afternoon naps.Ran is a nurse who happens to have won the national Karate Championship a couple of years back. She is patient, kind, and nurturing, but she has a very overwhelming personality. She quickly able to intimidate people when angered, is also very hot-blooded and tends to act on impulses when the people she cares about are involved; the combination of jumping to conclusions and not hesitating to use karate on those who she perceives to have wronged someone have led to several "near-miss" misunderstandings.
